Let’s walk through the architectural ensembles of the master who wrote that he had “conquered marble”: we’ll talk about Bernini’s life, successes and creative path, and about the meanings and features of his works. We’ll also arrange a photo session for you against the backdrop of the Eternal City. The route may cover Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, St. Peter’s Square, the Spanish Steps and other landmark places, but in 1.5 hours — no more than three locations.
Bernini in Rome
We’ll start with a masterpiece created by Bernini in his mature years. In the church of Santa Maria della Vittoria you’ll see the “Ecstasy of Saint Teresa” and the Cornaro Chapel.
Rome is a city of fountains. You’ll see the Triton Fountain and the Fountain of the Bees on Piazza Barberini, the Fountain of the Four Rivers on Piazza Navona, and the boat-shaped fountain at the Spanish Steps.
We’ll walk to Piazza del Popolo and across the Ponte Sant’Angelo with Bernini’s angels. The walk ends at the colonnade of St. Peter’s Basilica.
Photo session in the setting of Rome
During the tour we’ll also take about 50 shots against the city backdrop, help with posing and capture natural emotions.
